Osaka Prefectural Center for Youth and Gender Equality (Dawn Center)

Dawn Center is a facility that promotes gender equality and healthy youth development. The hall and meeting rooms are available for a wide range of purposes including exchange, study, culture, creation and expression.

Hall/meeting room rental

Our rental facilities range from small meeting rooms for 10 persons to the hall with the capacity of 500 persons.

Information Library

Dawn Center Information Library is a center specializing in resources related to women. The library is home to a diverse collection of books, government materials, magazines and other types of resources, providing information related to finding solutions to women’s issues and achieving gender equality. The library is available to everyone.

Opening hours/Service hours

Tuesday – Saturday: 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. (Service hours: 9:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m.)
Sundays and national holidays: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Service hours: 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
- On Sundays and national holidays, the hall and performance space are available until late evening (until 9:30 p.m.).
- The Information Library is closed on the last Tuesday of every month and during the special inventory period.

  • - Approx. 350 meters east from Exit No.1 of Temmabashi Station on the Keihan Railway and Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line.
  • - Approx. 550 meters west along Tosabori-dori Street from Exit No.2 of Osakajo-kitazume Station on the JR Tozai Line.
  • - Very close from Keihan Higashiguchi bus stop of Osaka City Bus.
